    Orly holds a bachelor's degree in law from Tel Aviv University. After interning in the Supreme Court, she got a master's degree in law with a focus on human rights law at Columbia University in New York. Orly is a member of the Bar Association in Israel and New York.

    Orly has served as an attorney at IRAC since 2004, as Director of the Legal Department from 2014-2021, and Director of IRAC since 2021. Orly has brought about significant legal achievements such as making gender segregation on public transportation illegal, ending the Orthodox monopoly on state-funded salaries to rabbis, filing (and winning) the first ever class action suit regarding exclusion of women, and disqualifying racist candidates from running to Israel's parliament.

    Ori joined IRAC's staff in 2016. He holds a bachelor's degree in political science from Tel Aviv University and an LL.M (with honors) in human rights as an Emile Zola fellow in the "Takannah" program In the College of Management. He is a member of the HIAS Fellows Program, and has been a member of the Bar Association in Israel since 2010.

    Tamar is IRAC's newest Tzedek Tirdof attorney. She studied for her LLB and for a BA in Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies at Hebrew University in Jerusalem and earned an LLM in Comparative and International Law from the National University of Singapore. She has been a member of the Israeli Bar Association since 2014. She is a teaching assistant in constitutional law and administrative law at HUJI and IDC Herzeliya.

    She has specialized in labor and employment law, administrative law and constitutional law. She lives on a kibbutz with her young family in central Israel.

    Noam has a B.A in International Relations and Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and a law degree with a specialization in Human Rights from the Academic Center for Law and Business in Ramat Gan.

    Following her studies, Noam completed an internship at IRAC, focusing on combating racism and discrimination. After becoming accredited as a lawyer, Noam worked for several years in a law practice, covering a variety of issues related to civil law, and she has recently returned to IRAC as a lawyer.

    Alongside her work, Noam has years of experience with, and involvement in, civil society organizations.

Legal Aid Center for Olim (LACO)

    Nicole Maor is the Director of LACO. Born and raised in Sydney, Australia. She was one of the founders of the Reform Zionist Youth Movement in Sydney. After making Aliyah in 1989, she clerked for Justice Amnon Cohen and with renowned human rights lawyer Avigdor Feldman. She has a master’s degree in International Law and International Relations. Nicky was admitted to the Israeli Bar in 1992 and became one of the first attorneys at the Legal Aid Center for Olim and its director in 1996. During her period as Director, LACO has advised and represented more than 100,000 new immigrants and earned LACO a reputation as the leading organization for new immigrant rights, particularly regarding issues relating to the Interior Ministry and conversion. Nicky has spearheaded all of the conversion cases before the Supreme Court these last 20 years and recently won the landmark decision recognizing Reform and Conservative conversions performed in Israel. Nicky is well known one of Israel’s most expert immigration attorneys.

    Naomi grew up on Kibbutz Hatzerim. She did a pre-army year of service in an absorption center as a counselor for olim from the Former Soviet Union. After finishing her army service, she went on shlichut for two years to Vancouver, Canada, as a shlicha for the youth movement “Habonim Dror”. She has a bachelor’s degree in law. Naomi serves as an attorney at LACO in Tel Aviv.

    Born in Ukraine, headed the Reform community in Cherkassy. She learned Hebrew in a Jewish Agency Ulpan in Sunday School. She has served as LACO Intake Counselor since 2000, providing aid to immigrants.

    Labor attorney, a graduate who holds a bachelor’s degree in law in the field of criminal law and criminology. A social activist from a young age, a counselor of groups and delegations of dialogue of Israeli-Palestinian youth abroad, and frontal interpreter of Arab-Israeli dialogue.

Spokesperson

    Yuli has been the spokesperson of the Reform Movement and IRAC since 2010. She holds a bachelor's degree in Communications from the University of Haifa, and a master's degree from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She lives in Kfar Yonah with her daughter, Ori, and is a member of Kehillat "Al Kanfei Yona", the village's Reform Community. In addition to her work with the movement, she teaches communications at the Open University.

    Lauren serves as IRAC's Liaison to the Knesset and City Hall. She has worked at IRAC since 1988. In addition to her work at IRAC, she serves on the board of the Parents' Organization of Jerusalem, focusing on gifted and talented students. Lauren is married and the mother of five daughters, and has four grandchildren.

    Louis comes to IRAC after working for more than two decades in human rights NGOs in resource development. He has degrees in history, law and Jewish education. Louis lives in Jerusalem with his spouse and their two grown children.

    Osy lives in Ma'alei Adumim,and is the mother to an only son who works as a fire-fighter. She previously worked for several years as a technician at Intel. Osy is a Reflexologist and Acupuncturist. Osy has served as IRAC's Office Manager since 1994. She is responsible for the daily management of IRAC,and works with vendors and other outside parties.
